Adoro esse filme , ja vi umas 4 vezes:
 Bianca é uma estudante moderninha, que adora festas e quer namorar. Já sua irmã, Kat, é seu oposto: é antissocial e está se esforçando para entrar em uma boa faculdade e consequentemente, sair de casa.
O pai das meninas é um viúvo médico muito severo. A irmã mais nova só poderá namorar quando a mais velha namorar! Ou seja, na cabeça de Bianca, praticamente, nunca!
Mas, eis que surge Cameron, um garoto novo na escola que se apaixonou pela Bianca e está tentando conquistá-la.
O rapaz descobre a condição do pai e arruma um plano: contratar o valentão da escola para sair com Kat e abrir seu caminho para a irmã.
Após algumas tramoias, Cameron finalmente contrata Patrick Verona, usando um “laranja” (pode-se dizer assim).
Só que, para conquistar o coração de Kat, Patrick vai ter que se esforçar muito, pois não é uma tarefa fácil, visto que muitos meninos, só de ouvir o nome dela, fogem!
Mas, aos poucos ele acaba se mostrando um rapaz carinhoso e cuidadoso e não o valentão que todos achavam. Em meio a outras descobertas, Kat também mostra para Patrick que, mesmo sendo uma garota decidida, é capaz se apaixonar.
Talvez esse seja o ponto mais interessante do filme: duas pessoas diferentes, mas no fundo, iguais, se relacionando e mostrando que é capaz de surgir um amor verdadeiro.

RESUMO:  A obra "A megera domada" trata de Catarina, uma mulher bonita, mas com um gênio muito forte. Ela desperta pavor em todos os homens, pois é inquieta e feroz. Não é à toa que ela é chamada de megera. Filha mais velha de Batista, tem uma irmã mais nova (Bianca) que, ao contrário dela, tem vários pretendentes amorosos, que fariam de tudo para ter a sua mão. Como Catarina não tem pretendentes, Batista promete que só irá dispor a mão de Bianca se um cavalheiro tomar a mão de Catarina. Isso criou um alvoroço geral, pois ninguém no momento estava disposto a viver um inferno eterno ao lado da megera. Porém, com a chegada de Petrucchio à cidade, milhonário disposto a aumentar sua fortuna, o escândalo é resolvido. Seus amigos falam da megera e seu gênio terrível para ele, que fica ansioso para conhecê-la e se casar com ela. Petrucchio se dispõe de vários truques para conquistar e domar Catarina. Logo no primeiro encontro, ele ignora as palavras rudes e as ofensas de Catarina, recebendo-as como carícias. Pouco depois, a megera começa a se tranformar e se casa com Petrucchio, mas jura não ceder a ele enquanto o mesmo não lhe agradar. Com essa condição, ele começa a exigir dos criados o maior cuidado possível com Cata (assim chamada pelo marido), mostrando sua carência para com ela. Catarina acaba cedendo à Petrucchio, para espanto de todos, e ao final, passa um sermão nas amigas, dizendo que as mulheres devem ser gratas e servirem aos maridos, pois eles se arriscam para agradá-las.
COMENTÁRIO: Shakespeare consegue, com sucesso, expressar o paradoxo que é a personalidade da mulher e, ao final, nos mostra a submissão da esposa ao marido de um outro ângulo.Catarina se submete à Petrucchio, mas não por ele ser homem e ter autoridade, mas por ele amá-la e fazer de tudo para que ela seja feliz.
